Using the Starkid Parent app
Getting started
- Download the Starkid Parent appWhere to download the Starkid Parent app on iPhone and Android, and how to open it for the first time.
- Log in with your phone numberLog in to Starkid with your phone number and the one-time password (OTP) sent over SMS.
- Complete your profileFill in your details on the Complete Your Profile screen the first time you log in to Starkid.
- Add your childCreate your child's profile in Starkid. This is the step before enrolling them in a school.
- Enroll your child in a schoolSend an admission request to your child's school. Once the school approves it, you'll see their posts, attendance, and messages.
Daily use
- View posts and updatesSee your child's daily posts, today's homework, and the morning schedule on the School tab.
- Check your child's attendanceSee your child's monthly attendance summary, attendance rate, and day-by-day records.
- Message your child's teacher or schoolReach your child's teachers through the per-child group chat, or message a school admin directly.
- See the calendar and eventsOpen the calendar from the School tab to find events, holidays, and reminders.
- Explore communitiesDiscover and follow Starkid communities for activities, tips, and ideas, using the Explore tab.
- React and comment on postsLike, love, or comment on your school's posts — when the school allows it.
